I have a 2011 Lexus IS250 (manual) that has a clunk somewhere in the rear end. I bought new control arms (all 5 for both sides), and last weekend I attempted to replace them all. Not one bolt (circled in yellow) wanted to slide out of the bushings they hold onto. They’re in very tight spaces, so I can’t get a c-clamp onto them.

I would like to avoid dropping the subframe since that would mean dropping the exhaust and driveshaft, both of which I am sure will present similar issues with corrosion.

I’m considering a grinder disc and/or Diablo blade on a sawsall to get them out. What would you do?
