Looking for some advice and ideas on planning a wedding that stays fully halal—specifically without music and without free mixing.
For those of you who’ve either organized or attended similar weddings, how did you make the event feel joyful, engaging, and memorable while still maintaining those boundaries?
I’d really appreciate hearing:
- What kinds of entertainment or activities worked well in a segregated setting?
- Alternatives to music that still created a celebratory atmosphere
- Ways to keep guests (both men and women) involved and not bored
- Any unique touches or traditions that made the event stand out
- Lessons learned—what worked and what didn’t
Jazakum Allahu khayran in advance for your ideas and experiences!
