My coach

So I don't know if it's worth complaining to my store manager about the situation, but my coach loves pulling me off of my tasks for the night just to help him out with stuff. Last night, I worked by myself because the previous shift there was only two of us working because two of our coworkers called out, which left me frustrated and overwhelmed by myself (my coworker was smart enough to call out). Tonight, I was supposed to work on cleaning the egg wall since that was the notes that my store manager left for me as our fresh cleaner, just for my coach to pull me off of it just to help him with GM receiving, and told me that I can just do the egg wall tomorrow. Since I'm the only fresh cleaner that's just going to result in me doing additional work on top of cleaning the egg wall and I'm just tired of being pulled off of tasks that I'm the only one being assigned to just to help him out when I receive no help of my own to accomplish my tasks.

So I had to clean the wet wall and berry cases without a kaivac (green machine) because the produce kaivac won't charge or drain and I don't even know if management has put in a word order since I haven't had to opportunity to ask. Tonight, I was told in my notes to clean with paper towels and spray, which works with the berry case, but is just a hassle with the wet wall (I'm looking at you broccoli).

Supposedly, next week, I'm getting another fresh cleaner to work with, so I don't have to do all of this by myself, but how am I supposed to teach someone how to do the job if the equipment doesn't work... I can't tell y'all how many times I've asked management to make sure that they're charging kaivac when I come in because it takes a lot of time and charge to use it on the meat wall and the wet wall so when it dies midway in between a task its just a slap in the face. I just know that everything can look better because I started off working as ON produce associate before switching to maintenance and being put to fresh clean for the last couple of months.

Despite leaving it on the charger, the produce kaivac hasn't worked for the last three days, and the produce associate that uses it the most alongside myself haven't been able to get it to turn on regardless of how long its charged and its also not draining properly. What makes matters worse it the fact that every night when I start my fresh cleaning, I immediately check the kaivac to see if it's charged, so for the last three nights I've reported to my coach about the situation and have just been told to do maintenance stuff instead. Honestly, I think because I'm only fresh cleaner, it's not a big enough issue since it's weird that I've reported to management and am still getting notes about cleaning fresh when I literally don't have a kaivac to rinse and vacuum the departments.
