I’m about 40 hours into the game. Kind of accidentally joined the western empire but like the leader and have been enjoying plenty of successful wars against all of our neighbours. I got my first Fief (the castle at the peninsula between Ortysia and Quyaz) from Garios and have been upgrading it and have augmented the garrison with good troops. Currently got around 600k in the bank, 400’ish influence, got a wife and son. I own about 4 different businesses in different western empire cities and have 5 heavily armed caravans active. I can hold 128 in my party and they are all well trained. So I’m feeling fairly secure and try to stay close to my castle due to the impending war with the Asari and current war with Valandia.
I just created the dragon banner and I’m unsure what I want to do. So some advice would be much appreciated. I quite like the security of being with the western empire and the fun wars I’ve been waging with them. But I also am curious about starting my own kingdom, but I fear losing everything I’ve built. I have all my family members in my castle so I think my next step should be to make some of them active parties and grow my clans troop ability? Either way, what are the pros and cons of starting your own empire etc? I enjoy what I’m doing but I don’t want to miss out on some of the fun of the game just because I don’t want to lose what I’ve built.
TLDR: Built up a comfy life in game, don’t want to lose it all so I am considering starting my own empire. Please advise on pros/cons.
Thanks 😁
