Been planning to buy a MyCanyon Aeroad CFR for a while now. Based on the reviews of the available wheels, I am biased towards the DT Swiss Arc Dicut 1100 ones. I am doing 70.3 triathlons + yearly 1-2 hilly cycling holidays (Stelvio, Gavia, Mortirolo, etc.).
Anyone has an experience of the DT Swiss and the Zipp wheels too?
Based on the reviews, I see the Zipps are lighter, accelerate exceptionally, so might be better option for the hills. On the other hand, there were some negative comments on reliability, wind tunnel testing results and maintenance needs. Not to mention, I would need to switch to tubeless.
When checking the Canyon website yesterday, I saw the DT Swiss config option disappeared. So my question is: would you wait for the DT Swiss ones, or buy the bike with the Zipps now?
