Cat delete tune ?
Hey everyone. Does anyone have a link to where I could purchase a tuner for my car? Having trouble finding anyone who will touch the cat delete.
I have a 2005 Grand Marquis with 85K on the dash.
The (at least 1) catalytic converters got clogged, and it sounded like I was dragging a garden gnome with a spray paint can. Long story short, it was cheaper for me to get a full dual straight pipe exhaust to flowmasters than it would have been to replace the cats. The guy that did the work put spacers on the 02 censors but the light came on anyways after about 20 miles (lol)
Ive been running it like this for a few months and I would like to get the engine back to running optimally. I dont personally care about inspections, legality, or any of that other hippy tyranny. I live in Louisiana and it isnt an issue.
So, anyways, I appreciate any responses and if anyone knows where I can get a good tune please let me know. Gas is expensive enough and I could fill a bucket with all the excess i’m spitting out lol. (PFA)
P.S. I cut the ram bar off a destroyed P71 at the junkyard with a sawzall and got a stern warning for doing so. The bumper slapped right on with 0 modifications outside of cutting my own bumper to accommodate.
P.S.S. I also have another random problem if anyone made it this far, my car beeps every ~20-30 minutes 5x5 times. 5 sets of 5 beeps. It is not the you arent wearing a seatbelt beep. They sometimes beep at the same time one after the other. Im pretty used to it after 2 years but if anyone knows how to fix it and/or take the speaker out I will personally kiss you.
