Howdy all, M25 here. I have a question regarding recovery. I’m pretty sure I have BXO and scarring, I have to make an appt with a urologist here soon to actually figure it out. Last year around this time, I was getting busy with my girlfriend and felt a sting, which I figured was a frenulum breve, which I’ve had before, so we laid off of sex and everything until I felt better.

Fast forward to now, I’ve got this line of white tissue, that looks like it has tiny microtears in it if I’m erect while the foreskin is pulled back. If I have sex just a bit too rough I get a micro tear on the top right, right behind the glans, that only stings whenever I pull it back. I can retract it pretty much fully, while flaccid, and it’s tough to retract fully while erect because it seems to just slide back instead of rolling over itself, and I know if I keep trying it will just tear again.

I’m considering just getting cut. I do the “wait a week and put aquaphor and clean it gently etc” but I really don’t want to have to keep tiptoeing about if in reality, I have too much scar tissue to ever have normal retraction while erect ever again.

The main question I have is, if I work in a metal shop(welder), from all the research I have done they say a week or 2 is best. What’s the best case scenario for an effective recovery given I really don’t want to have to take a ton of time off of work, and do yall have any tips on the best practices to keep everything going smoothly? would share a pic if it was real necessary for everyone to understand what my issue looks like. The best I can describe it is that there is a tight, seemingly patchy white ring that is right at the tip of the foreskin when it’s normal, and it moves behind the head when erect.

Thank you.
