Camera advice

Camera advice

  • Budget: Give a number in an actual currency. Does this budget cover any lenses/accessories, or do you have a separate budget for those?

$4000 USD would like Camera + Lens for that preferably a kit.

  • Country: Where are you buying the camera?

United States

  • Condition: New only? Used?

New

  • Type of Camera: Mirrorless, DSLR, point and shoot, 35mm film?

  • If photography; what style: (landscape, portrait, street, sports, wildlife, etc.)

landscape, portrait,

NA

  • What features do you absolutely need: (e.g. weather sealing, articulating screen, dual card slots, viewfinder, hot-shoe for mounting accessories like a flash, etc.)

I'm new I'd like enough features to grow with me for awhile.

  • What features would be nice to have

Tripod mountable, It would be nice to get something I could take wildlife photos or astral photos later with the investment of another lens.

  • Portability: How portable does it need to be?(Pocketable, shoulder strap, small bag, large bag, semi truck?)

I have this bag https://hazard4.com/collections/backpacks/products/pillbox?variant=44053008351545 and take it with me everyday already. Some things would have to go.

  • Cameras you're considering: Please list models and why you are considering them.

Sony A7 and Cannon rII and R III but I am open to advice.

  • Cameras you already have: What do you like or dislike about them?

My phone the auto focus sucks, but Its always with me.

  • Notes: (any other considerations you think we should know about)

I have a new baby so there will be lots of baby photo and adventures coming our way.

Thank you for taking time our of your day to give me advice.
