Whats y'alls stance on arriving on time but the person with the keys being late?

Good day friends,

I've been at a place for ~9 months. The turnover here is high enough that now Im a 'senior' here. I am on time or early for my morning shifts, but since I dont have the keys I have to wait for the cook, who is ALWAYS LATE.

Today was awful, he was late by 40 minutes, I had to open the place in a rush and late, in which I opened the doors at like 11.45 ( we open at 11 on weekends)

Mind you, the whole place was dirty, as closers were slammed and didnt bother wiping tables, so almost every table was dirty, so I HAD to wipe everything down before opening doors.. It was a rough start.

Anyways, Im pissed. I am always here on time, and I'm frustrated they won't give the opening servers any keys, so we're always late to open and clock in pretty much.

I am close to asking them to change my hours to from my clock in time from 11.10, to my proper start of 10.30

edit:

Thanks guys, I took the advice and gave my back bone a shot. the hours will be reinstated, and I enjoy the refreshing attitudes, they will also be getting me (and the other opener) a set of keys FINALLY
