Hi it’s my first time going on a cruise and want to how what to expect as well as what I’m required to do before going inboard.
I booked a Royal Caribbean cruise from Singapore to Penang and Phuket end of year 2026 via their website. Ltr through the app I can see various activities that I can choose. Does paying for it means I’m reserving it and is it possible to walk in for some of them even if I did not reserve. For the buffet area, do I need to pay for the food or is it free for the entirety of the journey?
I booked a room but cannot confirm whether 1 of my family member can join me for the cruise at that time due to work/studies. So under their particulars I put TBC (To Be Confirmed) and can edit it depending on which family member is available. If no one is available on that day, do I inform the cruise in advance or inform them when checking in at the counter. Will I be able to get some refund like port fee?
Any other advices y’all have based on past experience can share here will be much appreciated. Thanks
