In December of last year my co-worker quit self scan and I see on my sechdule im there. Im like oh maybe she on vacation. Then a week goes by I hear from customer and other co-workers oh she quit. Im like oh maybe they will hire someone else so I can go back to grocery. A month goes by I start getting mad and ask the grocery manger when im going back to grocery, since talking to the store manger is like a brick wall. I start getting bored and hating my job. I very rarely get grocery which im trying to full time in. Its now been 4 months still suck at self scan doing Sunday 2:30-9 and M-F 2:30pm-10:00pm. Im alos tired of closing. I my store manger says we will are working on hiring someone lies. My co-worker in grocey is also mad cause every day between 2:30-3pm hes alone and going ask the grocery manger tomorrow when im coming back to grocery. Since im mostly only in grocery when hes off. The only reason I havent looked for another job cause I get between 35-44hrs and I been working at the company 4 years between 2 stores.

It now been 4 months at self scan. I got told this week by my co-worker who got rehired ill be back at self scan May 11th and ill be in grocery. So I ask my grocery manger is it true im back in grocery Sunday, yes you should be permanently. I get my next 2 weeks sechdule and see its all lies 1 day grocery 3 self scan and 2 days cashier but no closing which is the only good thing. Then tonight the store manger moved me from self scan to cashier cause the customer service lost my self scan card I put on the customer service desk last week. As my co-worker comes put the keys on the desk we both here, the CDH says the one who going do self scan next week needs heart sugery. WTF now next week im stuck at self scan. My bosses lied to me. Ill be stuck up front and I hate people.

I talked to my family and decided if nonthing changes or I don't get more grocery by time the ShopRite opens by me that was the old grocery store I worked at before it closed and ill only apply for grocery. Even if I gotta start my pay all over again at mimuage wage after being at this job for 4 years I will. If not ill try other grocey stores only grocery departments and no front end. I also hate answrering the same questions and pushing buttons all day at self scan. Im also told being promised that ill get grocery and its only one or two days when only when my co-worker in grocery is mostly off.

I just got in the mail a keychain you get for being there 5 years. Ill be there for 5 years Sep 3rd. Is it normal to get it 6 months early?

At the end of December the co worker who closed SC daily had quit. I saw I was replacing her, and though it be maybe a few weeks or so then they hire someone else. Nope its been 4 months daily sun-fri closing SC. When im off its one other co worker that closed it. Im trying get full time grocery but got very little that due to stuck at SC. I felt like I was going insane somewhat and bordem daily cause no matter how busy and or slow it was time went by slow. I hated answering the same stupid questions over and over and fixing customers mistakes. I only enjoyed it due to I was getting hours. I also was bad at stupid Everseen, no matter what someone bagging, somthing fell or i put a price in and it always went off. Then when I had to sign the weekly Everseen paper they see how high my number was and I be like everything scanned and or they bagging. I once had it go off 5 times in one transacation cause of someone bagging. Then my boss was like oh you should be at 100%, you are pressing the X too fast. I did slow down and did had a few where there was a miss scan. I also saw how lazy and messy customers left it. Leaving there reciept there, leaving a ripped bag and or if someone else reciept leaving there not throwing it in trash. Also they be so lazy to put the cart away, they would leave it in or outside of SC in everyone elses way. I was also told by my top store manger shes working on getting me back in grocery.

Eariler this week finally good news, I saw my old co worker who quit got rehired for SC. I also though once you quit here you can't ever come back. Now she tried many times to come back they said no but finally rehired her. She said she misses it is why she came back. Then I was told by the grocery store manger that due to her coming back I should be permanentaly back in grocery, since she got rehired. I hope I see that today when I see the next 2 weeks sechdule.

In the end of December my co worker who closed SC daily quit. So I did daily for 4 months I had to do SC, I hated it, and when I was off only one other co worker did it. I found out they rehired her and she started soon, and I heard ill be back in grocery again more than here and there. I also this week have yesterday and today grocery, yay!
