Hello fellow Astorians! I had 2 questions for pet owners. I'm about to pick up my new cat from a rescue(he's so handsome) and I figured it was about time I looked into pet insurance for my cat of 4 years and the new boy I'm bringing home. Does anyone have an insurance they use that they highly recommend? I have already viewed Healthy Paws and ASPCA policies. Healthy Paws only seems to offer emergency or sudden illness and injury and no preventative or wellness. ASPCA had a comparison chart with Healthy Paws and seemed to outshine them with the option to include preventative care to the package deal, which would help with teeth cleanings(I've seen crazy prices for) and annual exams. Can anyone vouch for ASPCA or an equivalent insurance plan? And on that note, what vet around here do you trust to bring your pet to and has low-cost dental cleaning? Appreciate any info. Thank you!
