Do you all think we will get more from Sect Camp in the remake?

I know we can't be a Guru, but I do hope we will get some way to get more from that path in terms of power. Maybe with Xardas teaching us Dark Arts and getting Dark Arts robe if we are in Sect Camp. That could be a cool way to tie up all the sides of magic. Old Camp with Fire, New one with Water and Sect Bezi eventually becoming Dark Arts master.

Or something of the sort. I dunno. There is lots of talking about New Camp getting more content and I REALLY hope Swamp Camp gets some proper love as well.

Video made by WolfheartFPS about Gothic Remake

It does fill me with positivity because well... it is something I'd like to mention with all of the videos we have so far. Because a lot of them with people who played it and we see their videos it looks like Gothic Remake captures something that should be the key to this whole game.

Progression. All of the videos I saw of this game and people playing has people say how the progression feels like it matters, how it starts them all feeling like dirt and crawling into proper place in the colony and all of them are first time players which I say does mean the game itself does capture what made original so special. These guys sound like I felt when I first played Gothic 1.

You can say anything about art direction or colors or designs which is all I say more subjective stuff and I don't mind many of the changes. It's not perfect, but OG was not perfect either. But I think what matters is that the writing, characters, the world and most importantly the progression and struggle to become a true master is the same as it was in Gothic and it is one of the most essential parts to capture.

And yeah. I did see people mention how AI has issues now, but I do believe (or at the very least REALLY want to believe) that this will be things that will work on release of the Remake. I think I will have lots of fun with the game and if reactions of those people are anything to go by I do think it could be a success among many new players. Old ones can have their issues cause we have point of comparison, but it seems like this game is not something that will take away something truly important from new players and will make them love this world and story and gameplay in the same way we love it now and learned to love it.

I wonder if that new Wishlist roadmap is a sign of things to come for the Beta of Dark Heresy

Because given that they announced it right before Warhammer Skulls and possibly Beta release date announcement it feels like Owlcat is betting A LOT on that Beta to be strong enough to pull people in to wishlist the game by just watching it from influencers.

Makes me wonder if it will have voice acting as weird as that could be so early. I think that would be a good strat for this beta given that roadmap. That would be a STRONG hook for people to wishlist the game and make content made about it to be easier to watch and get into.

I remember Bricky playing the Beta of Rogue Trader and I do wander if we will see something similar here, but with even more big youtubers in Warhammer space.

Also this video does kind of show what path we will be taking in the game. We will start as a Trusted Acolyte in the Prologue and become Prime one in the Act 1 and given our own baby rosette.

We will rise most likely in Act 2 to the rank of Explicator and possibly over the course of the act 2 we will become an interrogator somewhere halfway through and in Act 3 right before faithful moment of being kidnapped in the Night Lords Fun Dungeon we will become a full fledged Inquisitor and that will be our first trial as one. Or maybe right after that in act 4 we will be given the title of a full Inquisitor and in act 3 we will be an interrogator like Heinrix.

I do wonder if this will give us an ability to learn more as we go along in the story. Where maybe by act 3 or 4 we will have a full Inquisitorial database to look through. Also I can already see Millicentilia as one of the Inquisitors who will be vouching for us to be next Inquisitor.

With other two one most likely appearing later or one being Lord Zerbe himself who may be able to give us the position if she has unfortunate accident of being at the end of my "WITNESS YOUR DOOM!!" beam at a very wrong time and ACCIDENTALLY eats shait and dies.
