So you're growing as a streamer and your community is getting chaotic on stream and in your discord servers? Well here's a solution, getting a mod!

You may be asking, "Well, why should I even get a mod when I'm enough?" The answer is simple, they can keep very keen notes of people and may have a different perspective of people in your community that they know or are suspicious of.

"Well, it doesn't matter because I can do the same." Sure! You very well can, but sometimes you may be too trusting of your community, and never suspect an individual to be dangerous or suspicious! A mod may be in more touch with your community than you are and know things about others that you don't!

Now, as to finding a mod? Find someone you trust to NOT be biased, and won't abuse their powers obviously. Sure, you may never know how a person truly is, but if they show activities of good history, especially modding experience, then you should definitely consider them!

One thing to consider is especially: Hiring a mod is a two way street. You should trust them to keep you and YOUR COMMUNITY safe at all times, but also friendly with them equally without favoritism (understandable if they know certain people irl or from another server/etc). However, they should also trust that you'd take their word and be very understanding of their reasoning behind their actions if they time out or ban users. What's the point of establishing them as a moderator for your community, if you don't trust them with your community?

Onto point 2: You should always find more reasonable trust in your mods ALWAYS before a random viewer in your community. A mod may know more things about a certain viewer, or such as having well identified, backed up evidence and solid proof from a reliable source/their investigation. I'm not saying trust your mods 100%, but at least hold faith in their commitment and reliability of your choice of giving them a moderation role.
