I understand that you much connect the paradise to two other paradises, but would connecting a jade direct to two pink lands work? Or do they have to have different shells?

Does the 15th Anniversary edition keep the same locations as the original ID L while adding on new ones? Basically, does the 15th Anniversary edition keep Gotchi School, Melody Land, etc? Or do the new locations erase the old ones. Thank you!!!
