My first attempt at Kuchipatchi! He’s not perfect, but pretty cute and I’m proud of him 🤭 I may make more in the future 💕

Decided to run into a smaller target on a whim after work and saw a fresh box of the tamagotchis! Noticed this one and the scanner said chase so I’m like ok! (Don’t care regardless, I just liked the design). Opened it and found the rare card so assuming it is a chase then! I just wanted to share my fun find 😌

They are way more needy then a Uni, and not having a baby sitter option is so annoying because this thing beeps a lot and I feel like I have to put my full attention on it just to get a decent character. I swear I keep getting ugly ass Megatchi 😭

I ordered this about a month ago. I bought it pretty much new in box. I've seen absolutely outrageous prices ($200+ for used/damaged ones), but I found this one at an okay price. Childhood me would've been beyond excited to have one of these 🥹

Ive been very lazy with getting the unis I want for my collection, and that decision came to bite me in the butt, since now people are starting to price them so much more expensively and Bandai doesnt seem to be making new batches. And I noticed that no more blue unis were being sold anymore with the little gift inside and in the packaging for a reasonable price, until I finally got lucky and found one!

Im so excited to have Shimashimatchi now, since I finally own two unis to get him :)

- First b&w Punirunes to come out, still has the puni puni (squishy) ball;

- They have similar programming but with different Sanrio characters;

- "Commu" seemingly stands for "community", so maybe it's meant to be like the Tamagotchi Nano, with IP collabs? We'll have to wait and see;

- 2 minigames (Punijump rope and Puniwhip);

- There's a gacha that you play once every day and can get stuff from it;

- Gifts appear when you fill a bar involving good care. Squish them to open;

- Punis still don't die, they melt and you can bring them back to their form by squishing the rubber ball;

- There are 20+ animations (maybe going out, maybe idle animations?) and other Sanrio characters can visit you;

- Cost: ¥3,300 (21 dollars), and there's a set with a Hello Kitty case for ¥4,800 ($30);

- Plushies (¥3,080) and plush keyrings (¥1,760) will also be released;

- Release date: late June, 2026.
