Hello all,

I’m on day 15 post op from getting my wisdom teeth removed (all 4 impacted) as well as tooth 19 (5 teeth total). I’ve been finding it hard to open my jaw more than 1 finger. I utilized cold compresses the first few days and since then have been rotating warm compresses and attempting to stretch my job for about 10-15 seconds a couple times a day.

Has anyone else had similar jaw mobility issues after getting their wisdom teeth removed? If so, how long has it lasted?

I had a follow up with my oral surgeon yesterday and I was advised to just keep stretching my jaw. Everything looked normal with my tissue (no dry socket) and everything seemed to be healing fine.
