-Two batteries (11.5kwh)

-14 solar panels

-Air source heat pump

-All electric house

I'm currently on Cosy import and standard flat rate of 12p export which was fab in winter.

Since this is a new system, and I've not used it in the summer. Am I thinking correctly that staying on this is better than moving to Agile?

The way I see it is, on good days my batteries fill from just the solar generation alone by 11am, and I'm exporting excess electric at a flat rate of 12p all day continuously into the evening and I'm always full for the expensive time period of 4pm to 7pm. And this amount lasts overnight back to the morning. If not there's a two night time slots that I buy electric for 14p. Last handful of days I've sold more solar than bought electric.

On a bad day. I'd charge the battery full in one of the night slots and again in the afternoon if needs be for 14p. And probably wouldn't have sold any solar due to no generation/clouds? But still only buying for 14p.

I've checked historic days for agile tariffs and yes they have some free/low rates sometimes. But a lot of the days were only below 14p to buy electric for very short time then most slots were above this rate? And they're cheap in the day when my batteries are full? And the export during the day when batteries were full we're super low compared to 12p.

Am I not seeing something obvious?
