Why are brands still skipping test campaigns before scaling influencers?

At KABBOUR Brands we rarely scale influencer campaigns immediately anymore.

We test small first:

  • multiple creators
  • multiple angles
  • low-risk budget
  • real performance data

Then we only scale the winners aggressively.

Honestly, we’ve seen smaller creators outperform bigger names more times than not.

Curious how agencies and brands here approach this now:

What actually makes a creator “scalable” to you beyond vanity metrics?

Hey everyone,

I recently started an influencer marketing agency named KABBOUR Brands focused on running structured, performance-driven creator campaigns.

I’ll be upfront — I don’t have case studies yet. What I do have is a clear system for building campaigns that actually make sense and can scale.

I’m not asking for blind trust or long-term commitments. The idea is simple: lowering the risk.
👉 start with a small test campaign
👉 see what works
👉 then scale from there

Before this, I worked as a Quality System Manager, so I naturally approach things with structure, processes, and continuous improvement — which I feel is missing in a lot of influencer campaigns.

Most brands are already using creators, but it’s often random — no real system behind it.

My approach focuses on:
• Defining clear campaign objectives first
• Handpicking the right creators (not just big numbers)
• Content angles designed to perform (not just “post and hope”)
• Smooth coordination and execution
• Tracking performance and optimizing what actually works
• Building campaigns that can scale, not just one-offs

If you’re a brand thinking about influencer marketing — or feel like your current approach isn’t really working — I’d be happy to chat or map out a small test for you.

Also open to feedback from anyone in the space — still building and improving.

Appreciate it 🙏
