So basically I lost HOURS of progress, but I did save the game. I even reopened it and checked and the save was there. I since opened the game again and it's reverted back to an old save?

I've tried looking for any saves in my phone, but cannot find any files that are anything to do with the game or the emulator.

Internal storage > android > data shows nothing and I cannot for the life of me see where they would be saving to.

Any help would be appreciated. Hopefully the save file is there somewhere that I just can't see.

So I'm new to this game, but been a Pokémon player from childhood.

I played the game without much thought, abusing type advantages basically forever.

This game is clearly a lot more than that, and actually takes some thought. On difficult, I find sometimes I'm just getting swept easily by certain leaders or NPCs (guy with krookodile and Candice from Diamond/pearl).

Can anyone help with what the hell the scanner does and how to actually use it. I don't know what I'm looking at really, not how to actually implement it in to my gameplay.

The extent of my knowledge is that certain types give certain points (?) to certain stats so maybe killing a rock type will give you a point in defence (that could be wrong , just an example).

Is there any way to change the grading/rank of my current Pokémons stats? So the stats have a grading S - D could you change a D to an S? Or do you just have to breed/catch ones with a good base?

Its all confusing to me.
