Hi everyone! I am the Garden Leader for the new Denargo Market DUG sponsored garden. Our garden area is completely empty, DUG provides the land agreement and some basic garden tools, but other than that we are on our own and our gardeners are low income, fixed income so our budget is finite until we can fundraise money later in the year. We are brand new and are searching around for some free items to make the garden a nice third space for the community. If you have any of these things or know people who are looking to declutter please reach out. Some of the list is needs and some are wants, we are aware of that.
-peg boards.
-garage shelves.
-outdoor seating.
-battery powered tools.*
-gardening items.
-irrigation equipment.
-hoses.
-wheelbarrow.
-folding table (used for vending at future Denargo markets).
-wood for building fixtures needed.*
-Corrugated metal sheets.
-pots and raised garden beds. *
-barrels (making a potato garden).
-flame thrower for sealing wood.
-food safe tote to hold water since we are at the mercy of the P&R department for water.
-compost bins.
-solar charging bank (no access to electricity).
-Solar lights (pathway and hanging) (no lighting in the garden).
