Been trying to feed my 6mo purees and oatmeal since the pediatrician said she could start 2 months ago. She refuses to even let me get any kind of spoon in her mouth. I started paying more attention and she will gnaw on her pacifier (philips soothie) but will not put a single toy or teether in her mouth. She drinks breastmilk from a bottle just fine and uses her pacifier but will not allow anything else in her mouth. Told the pediatrician and she just said keep trying, but at what point are you doing more harm then good trying to shove food in your babies mouth. Is this normal or is something else going on I should be concerned about?
