Hi, so I've been in an LTO in a junior class for over a month now. The teacher is on a non WSIB injury leave. I had been sent a congratulations email from HR when my LTO started in March to May 1st was the end date I was sent.

I was told by the P that the teacher is extending their leave to the 22nd of May. I think I might have agreed to extend? I never said "yes, I'll extend" but I did say (in a text to P) "I want to, the kids need someone there". At no point has HR contacted me.

Now I'm not upset, like I have steady work and I know the kids, but idk if I'm even supposed to still be there... Like HR hasn't confirmed or talked to me at all... I tried calling them and no response...

I heard rumors that the LTO is getting extended even further into June, I never said yes to that far... Should I reach out to HR and confirm that I'm currently in that class? And restate that I'm there until May 22?
