I’m a freshman and I park my car off campus at a friends apartment usually, I parked my car at the tennis courts for like an hour while moving stuff in and out and I got a ticket. I was wondering if I can get away with not paying this ticket because I genuinely can’t afford it right now. I’m getting a new car over the summer so not only is this car not on file as mine, I won’t even own it in a few months. Mainly I’m curious what happens if I don’t pay it and what kind of power the parking services actually holds here.
