Hi all,

Asking here as I don't know where else. My father was supposed to fly Lufthansa Bangalore to Barcelona (business basic) on May 5th. He had a heart attack on 21st April and has since had open heart surgery and is therefore medically unfit to travel.

He has travel insurance from the week of the flights and that does not usually cover cancellation due to causes weeks before the flights takes off. The fact however remains he is medically unfit to travel and have compiled all evidences.

I've tried emailing esales delhi as advised by Lufthansa helpline to understand what my options are for a refund or rebooking as it is clear he cannot travel that date. I haven't heard back. Any ideas what to do?
