used GNOME for about a year, and every time I tried KDE before, I’d switch back within a day. it always felt a bit messy and over the top.
but this time I gave it a proper shot , kept things minimal, didn’t go crazy with themes or widgets.
and yeah… now I get it.
it feels insanely smooth, looks clean, and the level of control you get without ruining the aesthetic is kinda insane.
I didn’t do anything special, just a few small tweaks , but it already feels way more “mine” than GNOME ever did.
still exploring it though, so I’d love:
- must-have tweaks
- hidden features
- clean widget suggestions
- anything that actually improves workflow
also curious , what made KDE click for you?
