Hi everyone, I’m considering taking admission in the BSc Physics department at Islamia College of Science and Commerce and wanted some honest opinions from current students or alumni. I wanted to know things like: How is the Physics department overall? Are the teachers supportive and good at teaching? How are the labs and practicals? Is attendance very strict? Are there good students/peer group in the department? How is the environment for someone preparing for IIT JAM or higher studies? Are there any research/internship opportunities or guidance? Would you recommend it over other colleges in Srinagar for Physics? I got around 72% in 12th (PCB background) and I’m genuinely interested in physics and maybe research later. Would really appreciate honest feedback — both positives and negatives. Thanks 🙏

So it was my 3rd attempt fir NEET and it was a mess and i am not going to make it to any colleges, and i have realized that neet aint for me. So now i need an advice regaurding college I didnt appear for CUET, is there any way i can get outta this loop. I prefer bsc from a local local is that a good decision, how can i make it worth it and what are the future options. Any bsc physics graduates here .
