I just have horrible experience with lenovo's screen warranty replacement service.
My laptop spent 2+ months in 2 lenovo service centers for 4 replacements and still on bad screen.
The reddish in the pictures are plain black image.

I bought t14s g4 from lenovo.com malaysia in january 2024 and i chose screen upgrade to the 400 nits; 100% srgb; Low power option.
Last february 2026, the screen was flickering on top right corner when the laptop starts from cold.
The panel part number was 5D11D96811 (LG LP140WU1-SPB2).

1st lenovo authorized service center:
a. replaced with subtitute part number 5D10V82364 (AUO B140UAN02.1).
Color wasnt uniform in the edge area.
b. replaced 5D10V82364 with subtitute part number 5D10V82367 (BOE NE140WUM-N62).
Severe backlight bleeding. Black is reddish and white is greenish.

2nd lenovo authorized service center:
replaced 5D10V82367 with another 5D10V82367 then another 5D10V82367.
and it same severe backlight bleeding. Black is reddish and white is greenish.

The reddish in the pictures are plain black image.

In lenovo part lookup webpage, 5D10V82367 isnt even compatible with any lenovo laptop,
which means lenovo factory never uses them to assemble new laptop.

In psref webpage, even usa retail models only use the base 300 nits; 45% ntsc panel.
then it seems lenovo doesnt put enough stocks for the upgraded screen panels.

so, when you buy new thinkpad from lenovo.com, just select the base screen option.

if you want better panel, buy 40 pin hdr edp cable from lenovo part store
AND physically compatible hdr panel from ebay/alibaba etc.
hdr panel is less than 100 usd in those sites while lenovo sells it at 200+ usd.
at least you still have good panel in reserve when the self upgrade panel goes bad.
