There's a specific flash game I remember playing online in my childhood, it's been soo long I can't remember what it was called. Or where to find it nowadays, since flash is dead and a major shift of flash game sites shutting down.
But I do remember vividly of what the game is about and how it goes; the game begins with a cutscene where you wake up in a dungeon looking room, where you then read a letter left by a mad scientist saying he kidnapped you, and he wants to experiment on you with a serum he made that'll transform you into a mutated rabbit-like monster. But here's the catch, not only is it like a escape-room type game, it also has a time-limit of 5 minutes if I remember correctly.
The timer represents the sleeping medicine in your body taking its course, injected into you by the scientist somehow, and if it reaches zero; a cutscene plays where you pass out, and the scientist comes and injects the serum into you, then it's game over. To prevent that, you must find the medicine in the room you're held in first; before escaping, solving puzzles and finding clues on where the medicine is hidden, so you can neutralize the sleeping medicine in your body, restoring your energy.
Once you find it, after solving a puzzle of red, blue, yellow, and green pictures of the mad scientist; a cutscene plays after you take the medicine into your body. Now you have restored enough energy to make your escape and enough strength bust out of the dungeon. But do it quick! You don't have a lot of time left, the timer is no longer counting down, but now counting back up to 5 minutes.
When you finally escape the cell you're in, through the steel bars of your Window with a metal file if I remember right; a cutscene plays where you land safely on the ground, you look back up the window you came from, and see the mad scientist's abode of his lair, looking like the State Capitol of Sacramento. The camera pans back down on your character, then Your character makes a run for it. Far far away from there.
The scientist then enters the dungeon, then finds out you escaped and he becomes sad, frowning.
