Battery issues, 2022 Yamaha MT-09
Alright everyone, I need some help. I am no mechanic cuz I won't even pretend to understand everything about electrical systems. My battery is 2 years old, and every winter it comes inside to stay on a trickle charger, which I call the "storage charger". I am now having issues where the bike is running and sat on, but not running for maybe 1-2 minutes while I ran inside to open my garage door. In that time, the bike ran out of enough juice to start and gave that horrible buzz noise to indicate the battery was low. I have an automatic phone charger from Quadlock, and that was indicating I was no longer getting 12V while it had been charging my phone during my ride home from the grocery store This is my first bike above 500cc and Ive had it for 3 years when I bought it used and the battery died on me i figured the prevouis owner just didnt treat the bike well as other signs showed. Is this normal for a 2022 to have this issue, or is this a bigger bike issue, as I never had issues with my 500 on a 4-year-old battery?
