Hello, did you guys get a charger with the your id4 or id6 when you bought it, especially in the UAE? I’ve been hearing that the chargers they provide are really cheap quality and can damage the charging socket or cause error messages. Can someone help and tell me if this is actually true
Cause I was using the charger they provided till now and approx I have got 25000 km on the car
But recently I am getting red light after few minutes inserting the charger and shows the error message on the screen as
“Please follow the charging station instructions, or use another charging unit”
And
“Vehicle could not be fully charged Please see owners manual”
I took my car to the garage for this issue and they first cleared all the bugs memory and than tested the car using there charger and it worked perfectly
But than they used my wire connected to there charger unit and the car received an error red message again like my home charger
The issue is that the wire I gave them I barely used it once or twice till date and it worked before in malls and other public area where charger is there but you have to insert your wire
After that all I went looking for chargers but few people don’t want to sell the charger to ID owners as the car will damage the charger again and same error will come and they tell to fix the car
So WHAT DO I DO THAN
please help
