Hey everyone! I would like an honest opinion from everyone. I’m 27 and currently looking into a new career path bc I honestly feel stuck financially and professionally right now. I don’t have a college degree yet (I had to stop school for financial reasons), but I’m trying to figure out a direction that can give me stability and growth

Recently I started researching AWS/cloud certifications, specifically the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, and I’m genuinely interested in it! I’m willing to put in the time and effort to learn I know it’s not “easy money” and that certifications alone don’t guarantee a high paying job.

I guess I’m looking for honest advice from people already in the field:

- Is AWS/cloud still a good path to get into in 2026?

- Can someone without a degree realistically break into this field?

- What kinds of entry-level jobs should I realistically expect at first?

- How difficult was the learning curve for you starting out?

- If you could restart from zero, what would you focus on first?

I’m trying to make a smart long-term decision and would really appreciate real experiences/advice from people already working in cloud or tech. Thanks everyone!
