I trusted a fart and shat myself.

I’m in my third week on Zoloft and my doctor increased my dose to 100 mg. Since yesterday I’d actually been feeling a sense of well-being for the first time, so I was really happy about that.

But last night I started having some mild stomach discomfort, and this morning I tried to let out what I thought was an innocent fart… and ended up shitting myself.

Thank God it didn’t happen at work or out in public, but now I’m genuinely scared of trusting a fart again 💀 Has this happened to anyone else after increasing the dose?

3 days without taking Zoloft

I’ve been taking Zoloft for 3 weeks, but I traveled and forgot to bring my medication with me. I’ll only be back home tomorrow. Will these 3 days without it mess up my treatment a lot?

I haven’t felt anything too different, just really intense fatigue when waking up.

Everything was going well until I got close to the third week. Now I’m feeling depressed, exhausted, and just lying in bed with no energy. I’ve read a lot of people saying the third week can be rough and confusing, and that’s exactly what’s happening to me.
