I want to share a story from my childhood that I still cannot explain with any laws of physics. I’m posting this to see if anyone else has experienced a "glitch in the matrix" like this.

I was sitting in my room. It was dark, but moonlight was shining through the window, so I could see everything clearly. I had a medium-sized ball (about the width of the distance between the 'Q' and 'U' keys on a keyboard). I was tossing it gently toward a wardrobe. I had placed a vacuum cleaner pipe under the wardrobe to block the gap so the ball wouldn't get lost. My own legs were also spread out, creating a barrier. There was absolutely no way for the ball to roll behind me or under the furniture.

I tossed the ball gently. It hit the wardrobe and instantly vanished. I saw it with my own eyes—it hit the surface and was just gone. If it had rolled back, it would have hit my legs, but there was nothing. I checked under the wardrobe, but the vacuum pipe was still there. I checked inside the pipe, but it was impossible for the ball to fit because the pipe was too small and the ball was too big. I even called my father; he came and we searched together for a long time, but the ball had literally evaporated.

I searched that room thoroughly for the next few days. It was nowhere to be found. Then, 2 or 3 days later, it suddenly reappeared in the same room, but this time under the bed.

The ball was physically different. It had lost about 25-30% of its air. It wasn't torn or popped; it just wasn't as firm as it was before. How can a large ball vanish from a completely blocked area, bypass physical barriers, and reappear days later in a different spot with its air partially gone?

It felt like a total glitch in reality. Has anyone ever experienced an object "phasing out" and returning damaged?
