How can I motivate myself when I'm alone?
For example, tonight I had the apartment to myself, which I share with my OH.
I was excited in anticipation to have a bit of time to tackle some things like get some tidying complete, self care and plan some work prep before relaxing to a show/movie, however I've done none of that apart from a small bit of tidying and have been on my phone for hours and my eyes are tired. Now, I feel my night has been wasted and I'm realising I get a bit slumped when I'm in myself/don't do well in my own company.
I tend to find that at night time, when my OH is doing something, I'll end up scrolling or watching a couple of episodes of something before falling asleep.
I play keyboard and that sometimes takes up some time but I feel I need something else or knowing how to cope well im my own company without directing it onto passive and addictive things, like my phone.
Any suggestions on why I get like that and any tips to overcome?
