Hello everyone.

I'm a first time poster here. I'm not autistic but my husband has high functioning Asperger's. He is very sensitive to noises and unfortunately our living situation has started to become unbearable. To give you the briefest background, we rent under an Asian household where neither husband nor wife works. Their young daughter (age 10) has to play piano every day. Despite us asking our landlord to have her play lower, we've been repeatedly ignored. But worse yet are their voices. The wife's voice is so shrill and high pitched that it goes through everything. While the husband has a voice with such a low bass, it can be heard rumbling through the entire apartment too.

The obvious solution is that we need to leave, as all attempts of talking to them have failed. But with my husband being laid off back in March and the prices of everything going up, it's a bit of a struggle right now. So while we are still living in our current apartment, I need recommendations of the best noise canceling headphones for extremely sensitive hearing. I don't care how expensive they are, they just need to block out but the lowest of lows (for his voice) and the highest of highs (for her voice).

I appreciate any and all help on this manner. I figure this would be the best place to post, as my hearing is good but I'm not as sensitive to the noise as my husband is.
