So as a kid I played Epic Mickey on the wii so many times, beating it so many times (mainly cause it was one of the only games we had for it and also was a HUGE disney kid and dreamed of becoming an animator for Disney at that time). AND I just ACCIDENTLY stumble upon a tiktok and notice a freaking epic mickey 2 symbol on the vita device?! I know it wasn't that beloved as a game but you don't realize how much I wanted to play that as a kid and now when my vita finally arrives I can fullfill my childhood bucket list finally!

Sort of a silly post but now im even more excited for my device to come in the mail finally

Hi! I'll soon be getting a psvita and I'm so excited. But I do have some questions about it.

  1. I can't wait to try out the VNs and Otome games on this device, but a lot are Japanese release only? When it's modded, can I easily translate to english via the homebrew software, or will I have to download english patches sepreately? I have a modded 2ds xl and some games I've tried downloading patches but I can't find some or it's confusing to set up/just didn't work.

  2. is there an online community via the console, like the 3ds systems? that would be cool to be able to do that, as I like to try everything I can on a system and maybe make some friends on there?

  3. So ive heard not all ps2 games are able to play on there yet (why?) but is Kh1 and Kh2 able to play on it? I love that series and hate how I can only play those games on my switch via online streaming and usually have issues with it (plus i love playing on the original/similar systems and not emulation or pc)

  4. What are some VNs, (psp/ps vita) and Otome games and Jrpgs do you guys recommend?

(Side note) I really know nothing about this system, after I ordered it hearing it mentioned on a video and got curious, I saw the commercials for it for the first time ever. Im a 22 yr old woman, and I really don't remember anything about this console where as I most certainly for the ds systems. I don't even remember my rich cousins having this (they always got the latest consoles for Nintendo or Playstation/Xbox systems but I never remember them showing this off at all. Maybe I didn't notice because my family was more nintendo (collecting older consoles thanks to my dad who also likes finding the "old gems" of gaming.) But I did grow up with a Ps2 and psp. But tbf, looking at the game lineups I don't think I would have appreciated it as much as a kid as much as I will now so maybe it's a good thing I'm finding it now. I really want the full experince on this device, make some friends, and live through this era I completely missed.
