All 24F.

I rented a karaoke room for a girls night a month in advance because we all agreed it was something we wanted to do on the next girls night.

Well there were four of us and when we got there it quickly became clear the other three had no intentions of singing. I sang three songs (spaced about 10 minutes between) and when I saw the timer said we had 15 minutes left I asked again if any of them wanted to have a go. They said no but they said the room was 'vibey' so wanted to stay longer, so I went down to the desk to request and pay for another 30 minutes. Then just left the building.

They only messaged me when (apparently) an employee came around and said their time was up. I haven't replied in the group chat yet because I feel like what I did was childish but as the hour progressed I just felt worse and worse, like maybe they're just not people I wanna hang out with anymore. I feel pretty sad about this whole thing.

AIO?

Edit: it seems like some people misunderstood the setting. This was a PRIVATE karaoke room that you have to reserve/book ahead for that we all agreed would be fun/something we mutually wanted to do. And yes, we ALL discussed singing at least a song and even looked up duets/group songs we could sing together

Mini update: I sent a message apologising and expressed feeling weird/awkward about how things turned out.. so far they've all read it but no one replied yet

Our neighbours have this beautiful flowering pine tree (I don't know my trees) but from the start of spring till the start of winter the wasps love it. The tree stands directly beside my balcony where I grow flowers and veggies, and the wasps love to burrow in my south facing skylights all summer long. I poke out on average 2-3 nests A WEEK in peak summer. I don't care about them flying around but they can get super aggressive, particularly when I'm out for longer periods of time working on my raised beds.

Advice on how to get them to stop burrowing in the skylight? The windows are fairly newly installed within the last 3 years or so, and my landlord says that wasps have basically always burrowed in them.
