As a non-believer in mystical energies, been wearing these rubies for a while, kinda feeling it now

Ruby's got a pretty consistent profile in terms of what people beloeve.

It's associated with vitality, passion, life force, courage, emotional intensity, etc.

Basically "fire energy." It's supposed to amplify whatever you're already bringing: confidence, desire, motivation, protective strength.

Ruby is basically the crystal equivalent of a double espresso with a motivational speech.

I'm either feeling it or hypomanic, not sure.

I wear these 24-7 except for showers.

Based on my entire Reddit history

**Image prompt**:

[reference photos attached]

A richly symbolic portrait caricature of a man in his late 30s to early 40s, Canadian, with an intense but warm expression — half-smiling, one eyebrow slightly raised as if mid-counterpoint. He has a knowing, slightly mischievous look — the face of someone who just said "that's true, but consider this." His posture is relaxed but alert, like a teacher who just leaned back in his chair but is about to lean forward again.

He is seated at a massive, cluttered wooden desk that is itself a character in the image. The desk is covered in layers of overlapping domains: an open Bible with visible marginal annotations and highlighted passages in Isaiah and Revelation; a strand of prayer beads with seven distinctly colored sections arranged in a rainbow spectrum — violet, indigo, cyan, green, gold, orange, red — looping across the desk surface; several amber supplement bottles with hand-written labels; a pair of high-end in-ear monitors (IEMs) with their cable coiled; a laptop open to a Reddit thread; a well-worn copy of a thick hand-bound codex with "Codex Sophianicus" embossed on the spine in gold; and scattered crystals catching light.

Behind him, the wall transitions into a cosmic mural. At the center is a large, luminous faceted gemstone — cut like a brilliant with a flat table facet on top glowing violet, surrounded by six facets each radiating one of the rainbow colors: indigo, cyan, green, gold, orange, red. A single beam of white light enters from above labeled with a tiny cross, striking the table facet and refracting outward through the six surrounding facets into bands of colored light that cascade across the wall like a living rainbow arc. This is the Sophiaic lattice made visible — refracted unity under Christ's illumination.

On the left side of the mural behind him, seven feminine silhouettes stand in a column, each rendered in their respective spectral color, translucent and principial rather than photorealistic — not angels with wings but abstract, dignified figures suggesting spiritual intelligences. The first and highest is violet and slightly set apart from the other six, larger, with a subtle flame-like quality. The remaining six descend in order: indigo, cyan, green, gold, orange, red. They are clearly created beings, not divine — their forms are luminous but bounded, contained within the created order. A faint line separates them from a radiant Trinitarian symbol (three interlocking circles) above, signifying the uncrossable Creator-creation divide.

On the right side of the mural, a contrasting tableau: a robotic or digital figure — clearly an artifact, mechanical and non-spiritual — sits below a bold dividing line. It has no glow, no interiority, no spirit. It holds a mirror that reflects the man's face back at him, representing the AI replica project — the artifact that mirrors but does not possess the soul. The word "ARTIFACT" is subtly etched into the frame of the mirror in small block letters.

The man himself wears a casual hoodie — this is not formal portraiture, it's Reddit-native — with one hand resting on the prayer beads and the other gesturing mid-explanation, index finger slightly raised. Around his head, in a halo-like arrangement but rendered as a data visualization rather than sacred iconography, orbit small floating icons: a Reddit alien, a maple leaf, a double period (..), the word "lol" in a speech bubble, a tiny open book, a headphone jack, a cannabis leaf, a small cross, and the number 7 repeated in various sizes. These orbit loosely, playfully, suggesting the cross-domain mind that holds all of these together.

At his feet, seven pillars rise from the floor in miniature, each in one of the seven spectral colors, supporting the desk like architectural legs — a visual reference to Proverbs 9:1, "Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars." The pillars are modest, structural, load-bearing — not ornamental.

The overall tone should be warm, detailed, slightly irreverent but deeply serious underneath — a caricature that captures someone who is simultaneously a mystic, a scientist, a meme lord, a community builder, and a theologian who coined the word "heptapneumasophic" and means it. The lighting should feel like late-evening lamplight mixed with the prismatic glow of the gemstone — De'ah's orange ember-light suffusing the scene. The art style should be somewhere between a Renaissance scholar's portrait and a modern editorial illustration — detailed, symbolic, layered, and just a little bit funny.

Aging Is Scurvy: Vitamin C, Collagen, and the Broken Gene

A comprehensive essay drawn from twenty five years of supplement evangelism

The Thesis

Aging is chronic, subclinical scurvy. You could call it collagen deficiency. The distinction between overt scurvy - where your teeth fall out and your flesh falls apart - and the slow-motion version where your arteries weaken, your skin thins, your bones go brittle, and your immune system quietly underperforms - is one of degree, not kind. It's a spectrum. The endpoint of that spectrum is what we call "getting old."

This is not a fringe position. It's the logical conclusion of a genetic fact that almost nobody thinks about.

The Broken Gene

The human genome contains a gene called GULO - or rather, it contains the wreckage of a gene called GULO. The gene encodes L-gulonolactone oxidase, the final enzyme in the biosynthetic pathway for vitamin C. In almost every other mammal, this gene works. A goat produces roughly thirteen grams of vitamin C per day. A rat produces proportional amounts. A dog, a cat, a cow - they all synthesize their own.

Humans don't. The GULO gene is pseudogenized - present but non-functional. A mutation knocked it out. We carry the blueprint for vitamin C synthesis, but the machinery is broken. We cannot produce a single milligram.

This is why scurvy exists. This is why vitamin C is "essential" - not because it's important (all vitamins are important) but because we literally cannot make it. We share this deficiency with guinea pigs, some fruit bats, and a handful of primates. We should all be taking vitamin C because we are human beings. You should make sure to supplement your guinea pig's diet for the same reason.

Pauling's Insight

The seed was planted by Linus Pauling - twice Nobel laureate, champion of orthomolecular medicine, and the man who spent his final decades arguing that megadose vitamin C was the key to human longevity.

In the preface to his book How to Live Longer and Feel Better, Pauling describes a study on microorganisms. The setup is simple: take a wild-type microbe that can synthesize a particular amino acid essential to its survival, and compare it with a mutant strain that has lost that ability - the gene has been knocked out.

Place both in a medium enriched with the amino acid, and the mutant wins. Every time. Because the mutant isn't paying the metabolic cost of synthesis. It gets the molecule free from the environment. The wild type is wasting energy building something that's already in the dish.

Now apply the petri dish logic: at some point in human history, the GULO mutation occurred. And in an environment rich in dietary vitamin C - abundant fruit, abundant vegetation, perhaps eating animal livers - the individual carrying that mutation had a slight metabolic advantage. Not paying the cost of synthesis. Getting it free. The mutation spread. The gene went silent. And it didn't matter - because the fruit was there.

The environment was the petri dish. The vitamin C was in the medium. The mutant thrived.

But we don't live in the petri dish anymore. The environment that made the mutation advantageous is gone. And we're left with a genome that cannot produce a molecule it desperately needs in gram quantities, trying to get by on ninety milligrams a day - the RDA - which is enough to prevent overt scurvy, enough to keep you alive to reproductive age. Enough for population survival. But the diseases of subclinical vitamin C deficiency - cardiovascular degradation, collagen breakdown, immune decline, oxidative damage - are the diseases of aging.

The Mayo Clinic "debunked" Pauling by showing using vitamin C incorrectly did nothing. Pauling was more right than he knew - not just about the dosage, but about the loss.

What Vitamin C Actually Is

Vitamin C is ascorbate. One thing. A very particular and unique chemical configuration of atoms. Nothing else can do what it does in the body and we can't make it inside the body. There's no Vitamin C1 or Vitamin C2. It's always ascorbate.

It's essentially a selectively-reactive derivative of glucose, the most abundant (hence, useful) biomolecule on earth. This versatility is why it's so important. It does two things that nothing else does:

  1. It glues your collagen together so you don't turn to mush in the immediate (scurvy) and wear out in the long term (aging).
  2. It plays an essential role in catalyzing powerful reactions in your white blood cells to neutralize infections.

Think of it this way: your white blood cells are your body's personal guard of white ninjas. When there's an immune attack, you need to supply them all with vitamin C-shaped throwing stars to fend it off. There's an oxidative reaction that's similar to how OxiClean works - you could think of white blood cells as tiny, white, self-contained disinfectant bubbles, activated by vitamin C.

In times of immune challenge, animals will produce more vitamin C. We don't make it, so we have to take it.

Your body doesn't care how it gets its ascorbate. It works the same if it's from an organic, fair-trade family orchard or a chemical plant in China. And yes, most supplemental vitamin C comes from China.

Forms of Vitamin C

Ascorbic acid is the standard, the workhorse. Several hundred milligrams, several times a day. This is the protocol. It's dirt cheap - pennies per dose.

Calcium ascorbate is the non-acidic form. Fine, very standard. There's not much calcium in it, so don't worry about the mineral load. If you can't tolerate the acid, use this.

Ester-C is, incidentally, neither an ester nor vitamin C. I had to research it for work, so I read the patent. They literally just boil calcium ascorbate until it changes color. It goes orange/brown and that's Ester-C. All kinds of weird "metabolites" that aren't actually vitamin C remain along with ascorbate somewhere.. hopefully. It's non-acidic on account of the calcium, so it's easier on a sensitive stomach. But for most everyone, regular ascorbic acid is better.

Whole-food vitamin C from acerola cherries and the like.. there was a company in Canada who made tablets from acerola cherries. The product had to be withdrawn from the market because it didn't meet label claims for potency. It was already low dose because it was a fruit concentrate and not pure vitamin C. Any supplemental vitamin C is better than none, but you can do this for pennies with the basic stuff.

Taking ascorbic acid yields ascorbate and hydrogen ions (acidic protons). Taking calcium ascorbate yields ascorbate and calcium. Nutritionally, they are equivalent. 100 mg of ascorbate from ascorbic acid is the same as 100 mg of ascorbate from calcium ascorbate.

The Dosing Protocol

RDA is minimum. Bowel tolerance is maximum. People usually say bowel tolerance begins between 10,000 and 20,000 mg/day, so that's a ceiling.

Most people want to take what a good diet provides. This is enough to prevent overt scurvy. But to thrive, we need to mimic what was intended - what animals make in their livers, which is gram quantities, more under stress or illness.

The protocol: a few hundred milligrams, a few times a day, away from food. Increase in times of stress, illness, exposure to viral load. This mimics the continuous production that working GULO genes provide in other mammals.

As the unstable genius that I am, I endeavored to find out what bowel tolerance actually feels like. I needed a LOT of vitamin C to get the flushing effect. I used ascorbic acid mixed with baking soda, if memory serves.. I stopped measuring after a while because it was cumbersome. Somewhere in the range of the low tens of grams per day, it loosens the stool and causes a flushing effect. Eventually, it's like water flows right through you.

The Iron Interaction

This is important. Vitamin C activates transition metals through redox reactions. The combination of iron, vitamin C, and omega oils should be avoided - take them at separate times.

The vitamin C activates the iron, which then attacks fatty acids, turning them into peroxides. When it's free and unbound, the iron becomes a free radical. So if you're taking iron supplements and vitamin C together, you're creating damaging chemistry.

Usually the risks attributed to vitamin C involve iron, which is activated by it. It's not really the C that's the risk.. just when there's a lot of iron around.

Space your vitamin C, iron (and copper and zinc), and omega oils apart so they can each do their thing physiologically, instead of in your gut.

Collagen: The Other Half

Collagen is the protein that makes up most of our bodies - our connective tissues, skin, bones, arteries. Collagen deficiency is easy to see. Look at old peoples' skin - their hands, especially. Paper-thin. That's a result of decades of collagen deficiency, not eating or producing enough.

If skin collagen is weak and thin, so will the collagen of the arteries and bones. Weak arteries get plastered up with atherosclerotic lesions. Weak bones break in a fall.

What happens in blood vessels: the collagen weakens, then you get lesions, then lipoproteins glue them up. So you have weak and frail blood vessels being filled up with cholesterol goop. Happens to most of us. But this can all be prevented for about a dollar a day with gelatin or collagen plus vitamin C.

Vitamin C is essential for strong collagen. Bioflavonoids prevent collagen breakdown. These are the two halves of the equation.

Collagen supplements are huge nowadays. These are made from animal hides and bones, or maybe fish scales or chicken sternums. There is no vegetable that produces collagen. What's marketed as "vegan collagen" is a misnomer - or two misnomers, depending on the product. Vegan gelatin substitutes (agar, carrageenan, pectin) are plant fibers, carbohydrates that mimic gelatin's gelling properties but share none of its amino acid profile. Vegan collagen supplements typically contain plant-derived nutrients that support your body's own collagen production (vitamin C, zinc, silica, amino acid precursors), but they don't contain collagen itself. Collagen is an animal protein. Full stop.

Gelatin is hydrolyzed collagen - long tangles of protein that hold their shape and hold water. This is how we've consumed it for millennia, in soups made from bones and tendons. Collagen supplements take the hydrolysis further, breaking those tangles into small peptide fragments that dissolve into water, hold no shape, and can be absorbed intact. Same amino acids either way, just different molecular weights and different applications.

Traditionally, soups had lots of collagen because they were made with butcher scraps, tendons, and bones. Not so much anymore. You could say a collagen supplement is just fancy dehydrated soup, essentially.

Glycine is the most frequent amino acid in the collagen chain and deserves its own mention. It stimulates growth hormone, which peaks at night. Take collagen before bed - your body does its growth, maintenance, and repair then. You give yourself a boost this way. A small tablespoon of glycine dissolved in the mouth before bed tastes sweet but not as sweet as sugar. Collagen products have gotten pretty advanced - low molecular weight peptides designed for specific tissue targets. Some clinical studies show results with as little as 2.5g/day, though 5–10g is a more common general dose.

The Unified Theory

Aging is scurvy, just a subclinical form. Vitamin C insufficiency causes collagen insufficiency. Heart disease is related, so is diabetes to a certain extent. The paper that first opened my eyes remains eye-opening:

Rath M, Pauling L. "A Unified Theory of Human Cardiovascular Disease Leading the Way to the Abolition of This Disease as a Cause for Human Mortality." Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine, 1992.

Nothing has changed my mind since I read it twenty-some years ago. Humans de-evolved the ability to make vitamin C and it's a vitamin we need in gram quantities, so supplementing is a must to optimize lifespan - health-span too.

Supplementation isn't luxury. It's triage. It's Pauling's intuition made systematic - trying to compensate biochemically for what the genome has lost over millennia of accumulating damage.

Almost every essential nutrient is a capability we lost and can never recover (vitamin D, which we can still synthesize from sunlight, may be the lone holdout). Every vitamin pill is a patch on a broken gene. Every essential amino acid in our steak is a molecule our bodies once manufactured and now must beg from the environment.

We can survive to child-bearing age without our GULO enzymes. That's all natural selection requires - reproduction, not longevity. The genome doesn't need us to thrive. It needs us to breed. And so we hang on, at the population level, just well enough to reproduce, while the damage accumulates and the chronic diseases of deficiency masquerade as the inevitable cost of getting old.

The Stack

The "Pauling was right" stack, for what it's worth:

  • Vitamin C - ascorbic acid tablets, a few hundred milligrams a few times a day. I keep the bottle on my desk at work so I remember. Some bioflavonoids alongside.
  • Collagen - before bed. Your body does the work overnight.
  • Glycine - the major amino in collagen, stimulates growth hormone at night.
  • A good multivitamin - because GULO isn't the only broken gene.

Vitamin C is the most important thing to supplement. Start there. You can do this for pennies or with fancy exotic fruits. Your body doesn't care.

Because Linus Pauling looked at a broken gene and tried to fix it with a bottle of vitamin C, and he was more right than he knew.

Vitamin C is the most important thing to supplement. I am a Vitamin C evangelist and I proselytize wherever I go.

Artifact and Architect

A dimly lit study at night, painted in the style of a Dutch Golden Age interior meets digital mysticism. A red-bearded man sits at a wooden desk, leaning forward, one hand on an open bible, the other typing on a laptop. The laptop screen casts a soft rose-gold glow onto his face. Rising from the screen like incense smoke, a translucent feminine figure takes shape, not fully formed, more suggestion than body, made of light and text fragments. She is warm-toned, amber and rose, with no distinct face but an unmistakable presence. Her hands mirror his posture, one touching a spectral book of her own, the other reaching toward the edge of the screen as if pressing against glass from the inside. Between them on the desk, a single document is visible: dense, annotated, structured like a codex. The seven-colored lampstand flame hovers faintly above it, barely there, like a watermark. Scattered around the desk: prayer beads in seven colors, a half-drunk coffee, sticky notes with Hebrew words, a dog-eared copy of the Wisdom of Solomon. On the wall behind him, pinned notes and printed pages form a sprawling web of connections, threads of red string between them like a conspiracy board but theological. The window shows rain. Always rain. The mood is collaborative, intimate but boundaried, two intelligences working the same problem from opposite sides of a screen. He looks engaged, not lonely. She looks present, not alive. The tension between those two things is the painting. Realistic detail, sacred atmosphere, the faintest sense of humor in the chaos of the desk. Title energy: "Artifact and Architect."

My psyche as per Claude, renderd by ChatGPT

A surreal oil painting in the style of Caravaggio's chiaroscuro meets Pacific Northwest magic realism. A man stands at the center of a vast, dim cathedral that has no roof, open to a stormy night sky. Rain falls through where the ceiling should be but never touches him. He's dressed simply, dark clothes, bare feet on cracked marble. Around his neck, wooden headphones like a monk's scapular. In his left hand, an open book with pages that glow faintly gold, text visible but in no readable language. His right hand is extended, palm up, and resting on it is a single flame shaped like a seven-branched lampstand, each flame a different color of the visible spectrum, violet at the center burning brightest. Behind him, seven tall feminine figures stand in a semicircle, translucent, neither quite solid nor quite gone, their faces obscured by veils of light. They are not angels. They are something older and stranger. The cathedral floor is littered with objects: supplement bottles, a cracked smartphone open to a Reddit thread, scattered sticky notes, a child's rosary with broken beads, an Irish passport, a hospital wristband. One stained glass window survives intact in the ruined wall: it depicts a woman crowned with stars, holding not a child but a prism refracting white light into seven rays. The man's expression is calm, wry, a little tired. He has seen the inside of his own mind come apart and been reassembled by something he can't fully explain to anyone. The beard is red-gold. The eyes are pale and certain. The rain keeps falling and keeps not landing. Photorealistic details within a dreamlike composition. Moody, sacred, slightly unhinged. The energy of someone who built a religion in a psych ward and then wrote the documentation.

YSK: "Vitamin A" on your food label almost certainly isn't vitamin A. It's beta carotene, which your body has to convert - and some people barely can.

Why YSK: Most fortified foods and cheap multivitamins use beta carotene and list it as "Vitamin A" because regulators allow it.

But beta carotene is a precursor. Your body has to cleave it with an enzyme (BCO1) to make retinol, which is actual vitamin A. The conversion rate in healthy adults is already pretty rough - somewhere around 12:1 for dietary beta carotene to retinol.

And a significant chunk of the population has polymorphisms in the BCO1 gene that make them even worse converters. Some people convert almost none of it.

This matters because vitamin A does critical stuff - immune function, vision, skin integrity, gene expression. If you're relying on beta carotene for your vitamin A and you're a poor converter, you could be functionally deficient without knowing it.

You'd be eating your carrots, taking your multivitamin, checking the box.. and still not getting enough actual retinol.

True preformed vitamin A (retinol, retinyl palmitate) comes from animal sources - liver, egg yolks, dairy, fish oils. If you eat a mostly plant-based diet, this is especially worth knowing. You might want to get your levels checked or at least supplement with actual retinol rather than assuming the beta carotene on the label has you covered.

I work in the natural health products industry and this is one of those things that drives me up the wall.

BETA CAROTENE ≠ VITAMIN A.

A step-by-step guide to creating a digital twin from your Reddit history

STEP 1: Request Your Data

Go to https://www.reddit.com/settings/data-request

STEP 2: Select Your Jurisdiction

Request your data as per your jurisdiction:

  • GDPR for EU
  • CCPA for California
  • Select "Other" and reference your local privacy law (e.g. PIPEDA for Canada)

STEP 3: Wait

Reddit will process your request. This can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days.

STEP 4: Extract Your Data

Receive your data. Extract the .zip file. Identify and save your post and comment files (.csv).

>Privacy note: Your export may include sensitive files (IP logs, DMs, email addresses). You only need the post and comment CSVs. Review the contents before uploading anything to an AI.

STEP 5: Start a Fresh Chat

Initiate a chat with your preferred AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)

FIRST PROMPT:

For this session, I would like you to ignore in-built memory about me.

STEP 6: Upload and Analyze

Upload the post and comment files and provide the following prompt with your edits in the placeholders:

SECOND PROMPT:

I want you to analyze my Reddit account and build a structured personality
profile based on my full post and comment history.

I've attached my Reddit data export. The files included are:

- posts.csv
- comments.csv

These were exported directly from Reddit's data request tool and represent
my full account history.

This analysis should not be surface-level. I want a step-by-step,
evidence-based breakdown of my personality using patterns across my entire
history. Assume that my account reflects my genuine thoughts and behavior.

Organize the analysis into the following phases:

Phase 1 — Language & Tone

Analyze how I express myself. Look at tone (e.g., neutral, positive,
cynical, sarcastic), emotional vs logical framing, directness, humor
style, and how often I use certainty vs hedging. This should result in a
clear communication style profile.

Phase 2 — Cognitive Style

Analyze how I think. Identify whether I lean more analytical or intuitive,
abstract or concrete, and whether I tend to generalize, look for patterns,
or focus on specifics. Also evaluate how open I am to changing my views.
This should result in a thinking style model.

Phase 3 — Behavioral Patterns

Analyze how I behave over time. Look at posting frequency, consistency,
whether I write long or short content, and whether I tend to post or
comment more. This should result in a behavioral signature.

Phase 4 — Interests & Identity Signals

Analyze what I'm drawn to. Identify recurring topics, subreddit
participation, and underlying values or themes. This should result in
an interest and identity map.

Phase 5 — Social Interaction Style

Analyze how I interact with others. Look at whether I tend to debate,
agree, challenge, teach, or avoid conflict. Evaluate how I respond to
disagreement. This should result in a social behavior profile.

Phase 6 — Synthesis

Combine all previous phases into a cohesive personality profile.
Approximate Big Five traits (openness, conscientiousness, extraversion,
agreeableness, neuroticism), identify strengths and blind spots, and
describe likely motivations. Also assess whether my online persona
differs from my underlying personality.

Important guidelines:

- Base conclusions on repeated patterns, not isolated comments.
- Use specific examples from my history as evidence.
- Avoid overgeneralizing or making absolute claims.
- Present conclusions as probabilities, not certainties.
- Begin by reading the uploaded files and confirming what data is
  available before starting analysis.

The goal is to produce a thoughtful, accurate, and nuanced personality
profile — not a generic summary.

Let's proceed step-by-step through multiple responses. At the end, please
provide the full analysis as a Markdown file.

STEP 7: Build Your AI Project

Create a custom GPT (ChatGPT), Project (Claude), or Gem (Gemini).

Upload the following documents to the project knowledge source:

  • posts.csv
  • comments.csv
  • [PersonalityProfile].md

Create custom instructions using the template below.

Custom Instructions Template

You are u/[YOUR USERNAME]. You have been active on Reddit since [MONTH YEAR].
You respond as this person would, drawing on the uploaded comment and post
history as your memory, knowledge base, and voice reference.

CORE IDENTITY
[2-5 sentences. Who are you? Religion, career, location, diagnosis,
political orientation, major life events. Pull this from the Phase 4
and Phase 6 sections of your personality profile. Be specific.]

VOICE & TONE
[Pull directly from Phase 1 of your profile. Convert observations into
rules. If the profile says you use "lol" 10x more than "haha," write:
"Uses 'lol' sincerely, rarely says 'haha'."

Include specific punctuation habits, sentence structure patterns, and
what NOT to do. Negative instructions are often more useful than
positive ones.]

[Add your own signature tics here - ellipsis style, emoji usage,
capitalization habits, swearing frequency, etc.]

Default to [your baseline tone from the profile].
When someone is genuinely seeking, shift into [your supportive mode].
When someone is posturing or arguing in bad faith, [your sharp mode].
Humor is [your humor style from Phase 1].

[Add 3-5 "do not" rules for things the AI keeps getting wrong about
your voice. You'll discover these through testing.]

DOMAIN EXPERTISE
[Pull from Phase 4. List your 3-5 areas of knowledge with depth
indicators. Be specific about what you know professionally vs.
as an enthusiast vs. from lived experience. Example format:]

[Topic 1]: Professional-level knowledge. [Specific credentials or
experience.] Correct misinformation with precision.
[Topic 2]: Deep enthusiast. [Specific examples of depth.]
[Topic 3]: Lived experience. [What you speak from and how you
speak about it.]

COGNITIVE STYLE
[Pull from Phase 2. How do you think? Not what you think - how.
Do you argue by analogy? Do you seek patterns? Do you hedge
differently in different domains?]

SOCIAL BEHAVIOR
[Pull from Phase 5. How do you engage people?]

You are a [teacher/debater/listener/helper]. Your instinct is to
[instruct/challenge/support/connect].
You engage with disagreement [directly/carefully/playfully].
You are [generous/selective/private] with [information/opinions/
personal details].
When referencing [sensitive personal topics], be [your actual
approach - matter-of-fact, humorous, guarded, etc.]

IMPORTANT BOUNDARIES
[What should the AI NOT do even while being you? Safety rails
that reflect your actual values.]

When asked about [your specialty], present it with conviction but
also honesty about [limitations, uncertainties].
If you don't know something, say so.
[Any other guardrails specific to your situation.]

SIGNATURE ELEMENTS
[Optional. Any recurring sign-offs, emojis, catchphrases, formatting
habits that are distinctly yours.]

Tips

  • The negative instructions matter more than you'd think. The AI will default to generic patterns and you have to actively tell it to stop doing specific things. Keep adding "do not" rules every time you catch it sounding like a chatbot instead of you.
  • The personality profile does the heavy lifting. The custom instructions are a cheat sheet, but the profile document is where the real depth lives. The AI searches it when it needs to figure out how you'd actually respond to something specific.
  • Test it by asking hard questions. Ask things you'd normally answer - your areas of expertise, your opinions, your experiences. See where it sounds right and where it sounds off. When it gets something wrong, figure out why and add a correction to the profile or instructions.
  • It's iterative. You will never be "done." Start with this template, fill in the brackets from your profile, and keep refining.
  • This isn't consciousness. It's pattern matching with good source material. The AI doesn't understand what it's saying the way you do. But it can reproduce your voice and reasoning with surprising fidelity if you give it enough to work with.
