So I finally decided to get into SI. I know that Branch and Claw and Jagged Earth are the first things to look out for. But it's the promo packs, Horizons stuff etc. that I'm unsure about.

Are there any promos that aren't included in other expansions? Are there any promo packs that are worth picking up and skipping an expansion (if possible). Is it worth it to grab the Horizons spirits? Can they be used without owning Horizons itself? I understand you also get additional colours in Horizons, which would be cool to have.

I know questions like this have been asked a million times before, but I still haven't been able to figure out what I need to seek out. I don't want to buy every expansion ever, but I do want some extra cool spirits at least.

Suggestions? Or if there's some sort of buyers guide I've missed, that would be appreciated too

Wondering if anyone has a full list of what items are needed when playing with all expansions. Ideally which S items, R items, and blank items.

I've ended up with a whole stash of extras and just want to include the items that are needed, storing the rest in an extra pieces box somewhere.

I realize I could go through the component list for rats, knaves, and the vagabond cards and puzzle this out, but I imagine someone has already done this.

If not then I'll do it myself and post a reference on BGG or something
