hoping to potentially find some individuals with shared interests. One of my more recent hobbies I’ve gotten into has been fountain pens, stationery, and journaling; this feels like it would be a good way to both indulge in the hobby and potentially make friends.
I study languages for a living (Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian) and love anything tangential to language, poetry, prose, and modern fiction. I read a lot about the religion, culture, and history of the countries and peoples whose languages I study. In depth discussions of movies and music and their messages, philosophy, etc are also right up my alley. Food, travel, art, video games, and fitness are all topics I could gush on as well.
Recent reads: Perfume: Story of a Murderer, The Hyperion Cantos, The Secret History, Malazan Book of the Fallen (book 4 of 10 currently).
