Hi everyone,

I’m trying to track down historical information about the old ShowBiz Pizza Place that used to be in Southland Shopping Center in Pleasant Hills (593 Clairton Blvd). It looks like it operated from July 22, 1983 until around November 1985.

I’ve found old newspaper listings mentioning an auction in December 1985 that included arcade games and an animatronic stage show (Rock-afire Explosion), and I’m trying to learn more about what happened to it afterward.

I’m wondering if anyone here:

• worked at that location
• remembers visiting it
• remembers the arcade/stage show setup
• or knows what business replaced it after it closed

Even small memories (layout, games, photos, anything) would really help.
