I just started ZA 6 after finished ZA 5 and 5.5 last night - what a wild ending that was!
I was really not expecting Tory to end up as Lionel’s guardian. I definitely had theories about more guardian bonds being created in this series, but that one was a wild pairing.
Anyway I’m only a couple chapters into Fated Throne and I’m having a lot of trouble wrapping my head around the characters intentions. I don’t see how Darius just continued seeing his father and Clara after all of that - even knowing that Lionel threatening to hurt Tory if Darius did anything, I just can’t comprehend how Darius was just normal when he saw them. And it seems like he saw them often?
Isn’t clear that they’re all enemies now? Like, why is Lionel cool with Darius and all the heirs existing around him? Shouldn’t he want to destroy them now that it’s clear where allegiances lie? Or control them, at the very least? It seems like Darius and crew haven’t had that much issue moving freely around all the summer, if they’re off hunting nymphs and meeting up with the whole gang and training.
Didn’t Lionel find out what they’re all up to after accessing Diego’s memories or whatever, or did I understand that wrong?
And like, why haven’t the other heirs told their parents about all of this so they can all try to move against Lionel?
Again I’m only a couple chapters into Fated Throne so maybe some of this will be explained, but please let me know if I misunderstood something! I got really excited and my eyes started moving really fast and skimming those last couple chapters, haha.
