Hey guys. I was stoked for this game after watching wolfey videos for like a year and I've been having a blast. It's honestly gone a lot better than I would have expected and I'm currently at a rating of 1900 withing 2 weeks of picking up vgc doubles. So now I've gotten it in my head that I should try to play in the upcoming global challenge but I dont know if I'm ready for it.
Team idea:
I had to start from scratch to build the team as I don't have other pokemon games to bring stuff over from, but luckily I did get a very nice rain core from early pulls combined with the free dragonite I got. at this point I feel like I got most pokemon that are decently common in the box so any suggestions to improve my rain team are welcome.
Team description:
You guys have probably seen teams like these before and ye it very unique, but I figured it would be easier to get into the game like this. Most of the games I just bring my trusty raincore of pelipper, bascu, arch and dragonite with scizor being a recent addition against teams with lots of fairie pokemons. Incineroar is mostly a bench, would sinischa be good replacement for him?
As for how the games go. I have pretty decent matchups into sun teams I feel like and non weather teams are decently ez to win too. I tend to struggle against opposing tailwind or a trickroom teams however. Any ideas and how to improve my team against those kinds of teams?
