New to lava lamps, would like to get one that has visually appealing flow around a budget of 100-150. Mathmos has this Violet & Turquoise lava that really caught my eye, but importing is a bit out of my price range, and I may end up wanting to change the colors later. Would it be worth buying a white/clear from lavalamps.com then coloring it myself, or are there any alternatives that y’all would recommend?
