I live in Alberta, Canada.

My ex is facing unemployment. He has supervised access to our child due to violence.

He wants to end it due to financial hardship and Im really struggling with it as he has established a pattern of behavior, grooming, getting a person in private, and abusing them and using his self-esteem to make you feel bad for being upset about the abuse. My consent order specifically says it ends when agreed upon and I don't agree. He keeps saying hes changed but abusers don't change especially not life long behaviors in a year and a half.
