I just downsized from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment for a PCS move. I’m having a bit of trouble figuring out where to put everything. The room itself is large but open so I’m not sure what would be the best layout for my furniture so I’m open to suggestions.
A few notes.
The couch is the IKEA Kivik so it’s modular. I had to take most of it apart to get it in the apartment. I’ve uploaded some other configurations the couch could come in. These are some but not all. The chaise can go on either side or be removed entirely. The armrest come off as well so I can swap them to wherever they’re needed. The couch covers were also pretty old so I ordered a light beigish grey color to replace the blue. It’s called Gunnared Beige
My coffee table was black but it broke in the move so I’ll need to get a new one.
The entertainment center works for now but if I’m being honest I’m not a fan of the blue doors. Someone gifted this to me and I’m very grateful for the set but it’s not my style. It also is way too small for the TV I have. It’s about 71 in and the TVs about 67 in wide (it’s a 75in TV). I’m thinking about getting the IKEA Etek shelves to go under the TV for now. I’m open to other options as well.
