We live on a small man-made lake in western Washington but these don’t really look or act like mosquitoes. They aren’t eating me alive like always happens with mosquitoes so I’m assuming they are something else but I don’t know what. We moved here in October of last year and about two weeks ago these little flyers started invading our apt! This morning there were like 50 on our back screen looking like they are waiting to come inside and 20 inside trying to get out.. Our cats are having a blast but jeez what are these things?? Is there a way to deter them from our home??
