Ive been riding around on a 300 for a while now, but it is kind of banged up. The fairings are loose (not falling apart), i think there is something up with the front brake because it does not feel stronger than the rear brake on application. I had gotten this second hand and was kinda banged up to begin with and i spent some $ getting it repaired (new tyres, fluids, brake pads, etc)

I dont really want to spend another chunk of $ having someone taking a look at it and was instead thinking of getting a new one. Plus this doesn't have abs and after a close call with brakes getting locked up, i do want to get abs.

However, i dont know what to look for. Id prefer another sport-touring vibe, but i also dont want to unnecessarily upgrade to a massively high cc.

300 seems to be plenty for my commute of ~52 miles to and back like thrice a week. Any recommendations?

I'm kinda new to this so please do take this with a grain of salt. I own a 2017 ex300 in the US for reference.

I got it second hand from facebook and spent about 3000$ on buying it, and another 3-400$ on maintainence/repairs (new tyres, brake pads, brake fluid, engine oil)

It was a bit banged up when i got it, considering I'd use it to get the hang of stuff and might sell it off and get a new one (500 maybe), but looking at new prices im against it.

Anyway, i got the minimum insurance coverage via progressive for 85$/yr. The fairings are kinda scratched up already and loosely fitting due to a couple bangs and drops, and the front mudguard is snapped. A lot of visual stuff.

I wonder if i should be upgrade to full coverage via progressive, quoted at 1200-1300/yr? Does it really make a lot of sense to spend about 35% of purchase cost into insurance for sake of mind, after ive banged it up a bit and those damages wont be covered, obviously?

I've never really done this before, and im putting serious miles on it recently instead of an hour or so of joyriding around the city, as i was doing earlier.

Looking at thr mission, it looks like an ifr approach but when i loaded in, the autopilot was engaged and was just flying straight and dramatically reducing speed.

The f-pln had no entries in it. I hand flew the plane following thr pink line on the top left map. Was this mission supposed to be this way, or do i just not know what i was doing lol
