After a lot of effort, I found a shipper who will deliver cross country. They're asking for $1400 cash on delivery. It was a LOT of work discussing the price because they kept changing it.

I'm wary about paying cash, and worried the driver might hold the car and demanding more $$ upon delivery.

Are these legit concerns? Is there a way to protect myself? Is there anything else I should look out for?
